My work explores the tension between darkness and emergence. Through graphite, charcoal, and pastel, each piece is built from deep contrast—where form is shaped in shadow and revealed through light and color. This collection reflects both discipline and transformation.

Emergence Series

A study of transformation through color and contrast.

Before color, I returned to the fundamentals.

After a 15-year hiatus from art, I focused on rebulding my technical foundation through graphite and charcoal-- studying value, light, shadow, and texture. These works represent that process, and the discipline that led into my exploration of color.
